I purchased this tv almost 2 weeks ago to substitute a 42 inch Panasonic plasma. There are a luck of swell things almost this tv, but the one thing that matters nearly – the picture – was a large disappointment. The intention and features of this tv are great. Internet worked really well, menus are nicely positioned out and I loved the big screen. If you consider the tv directly on, the film is excellent, but if you ride the slightest act dead heart it washes out quickly. Negroid levels become terrible, screen uniformity issues become glaring (flashlighting and erect banding) and colors (particularly flesh tones) are poor. Watching an episode of American Horror Story was a nightmare. I exchanged this tv for the PN64D8000 plasma and am much happier. The plasma movie is not quite equally bright, simply the dead core regarding and colors are far superior. For me, ameliorate smutty levels and color UN65D8000 are more important than spectacularly bright whites. The plasma has a far superior picture.
